Fibrozyme is an enzyme complex to aid in digestion of fibre and was specifically designed for ruminants. Plant structural fibres are the most slowly digested carbohydrates in feed and can limit intake and performance when forage quality is low as in late season or tropical pasture grasses. Fibrozyme speeds fibre digestion when rumen conditions are unfavourable to fibre- digesting microbes, such as in beef cattle and lamb finisher diets. Fibrozyme supplementation is especially beneficial in feedlot diets during the starter period, where fibre concentration in the diet is high.
